Something About Company

A New Way of Banking
AccessBank Tanzania Ltd (?ABT?) is a commercial bank with a special focus on microfinance.
Having opened its doors to the public in November 2007, ABT has quickly evolved into a recognized provider of financial services to micro, small and medium-sized (MSMEs) and the general lower and middle income clientele of Tanzania.
With an opening balance of just TZS 1,000 for the savings account, and providing microenterprise loans from as low as TZS 100,000, we strive to make banking accessible to all members of the Tanzanian community. We are among the fastest banks in the market place when it comes to the processing times of account opening and loan applications.

The Mission (purpose of being) of the Bank

AccessBank is a socially responsible bank for the lower and middle income strata of the Tanzanian society. It is the one-stop bank of choice for micro and small enterprises. It strives to be the leading provider of financial services in Tanzania.

AccessBank  builds-up long term business relationships with customers based on responsibility and mutual respect. By doing so it promotes a savings culture, provides payment and account services and supports borrowers to build-up a credit history. The bank’s loans are primarily based on an assessment of the borrower’s repayment capacity.

The Vision (end goal) of the Bank

Commitment to the development of financial systems that support social progress by rendering services to all people with the same ambition for excellence and quality.
