Global Packaging (T) Ltd is a private company registered under the Companies act, 2002 (CAP 212) dealing with production and selling of packaging materials (PP woven bags).
The company was established in 2013 as a limited liability company dealing with production and marketing PP woven bags as packaging materials. The company is located at TAMCO Estate in Kibaha Township about 0.5 kilometers from Morogoro Road opposite Loliondo new market. We have invested capital assets worth TZS 7.5 billion to the project. The shareholders of the company are Wande Printing &Packaging Co. Ltd (94%) and National Development Corporation -NDC (6%).
- Goals
The goal of this project is to increase the production capacity of PP woven bags in Tanzania by introducing a new plant that uses modern machinery and technology. Through effective marketing of the product in the local and export market, aiming to achieve the following objectives:
- To promote the local market for PP woven bags in Tanzania.
- To increase the quality of PP woven bags manufactured in Tanzania.
- To reduce dependence on external sources for the importation of PP woven bags.
- To encourage the growth of the PP woven bag industry in Tanzania.
- To create employment for the local people (unskilled workforce and professionals/technicians).
- To promote the transfer of technology to Tanzania through skill and human resources development. Training on the use and application of new machinery and technology will facilitate this.
- To contribute to the country’s economy through taxes and other levies.
- To promote growth and expansion of the private sector.
- To boost the export market in SADC and COMESA countries, resulting in increased foreign earnings.

Investments:
We have invested about TZS 7.5billion in the state of art for plant and machinery, experienced and dedicated personnel and adequate working capital to cater for day to day operating cost including purchasing of raw materials
EXPERIENCES:
We have started our commercial production in January 2017 and we are currently serving more than 5 customers including Export Trading Co. Ltd who have satisfied with our products in terms of quality and prices.
