Founded in 2007, Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the large city of Dar es salaam (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited/recognized by the Tanzania Commission for Universities, Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) is a small (enrollment range: 2,000-2,999 students) coeducational higher education institution.
