OreCorp Tanzania Limited (OreCorp Tanzania) and its subsidiary Nyanzaga Mining Company Limited (NMCL), are both wholly owned subsidiaries of OreCorp Limited, a development and exploration company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX:ORR) (together referred to as OreCorp). OreCorp is developing the Nyanzaga Gold Project (Nyanzaga or the Project) located within the southern area of the Lake Victoria Gold Fields, north-western Tanzania. Nyanzaga is in the Sengerema District within the Mwanza Region of Tanzania. The Project area lies approximately 60 km southwest of Mwanza.
OreCorp Limited (OreCorp or the Company) is a development and exploration company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) under the code ORR.
OreCorp is run by a well credentialed team, founded in 2010 by Matthew Yates and Alastair Morrison, who were then joined by Craig Williams in 2012. Mike Klessens and Robert Rigo joined the board in 2013 and 2016 respectively. All of the OreCorp board has extensive African experience, having been involved in exploration, the development of major mines and operations over the last two decades. The OreCorp technical team and its group of consultants also has extensive experience in the development of major mining projects in Africa.
OreCorp’s key projects are the Nyanzaga Gold Project (Nyanzaga or Project) in northwest Tanzania and a package of exploration properties in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia (WA), including the Yarri (including the Hobbes Prospect), Yundamindra, Ponton and Kalgoorlie Projects. OreCorp is seeking a Joint Venture partner for the Akjoujt South nickel-copper-cobalt Project in Mauritania.
OreCorp owns 100% of the Nyanzaga Project through its wholly owned subsidiary companies. Nyanzaga hosts a JORC 2012 compliant Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of 23.7Mt @ 4.0g/t gold for 3.07Moz using a 1.5g/t lower cut-off. A Pre-Feasibility Study has been completed and confirmed the significant potential of the Project. The Project Financing Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) has commenced.
The Company is well funded with no debt and is looking to both develop Nyanzaga and expand its footprint in WA.
