Tanzania Red Cross Society (TRCS) is a voluntary humanitarian organization established as an independent National Society (NS) by an Act of Parliament No. 71 of December 1962 amended by Parliament of Tanzania in September 2019. TRCS was recognised and admitted to the membership of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in 1963.
National Societies are recognized by the host Governments as auxiliary to the public authorities in the humanitarian field, meaning that they supplement or support the public authorities in this area. As such, they are equipped to partner with the Governments in the fulfillment of national humanitarian responsibilities.
TRCS is the largest and most dependable local partner in delivering humanitarian services in United Republic of Tanzania. TRCS has an active network in all regions in Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar. Duty Station             :           Nyarugusu Camp (Kasulu DC) and Mtendeli Camp (Kakonko DC)
Reports to                :          Patron/Matron Age Limit                       :         Not above 55 Years.

- Major Responsibilities o  Supervise material orders and dispatching in order to ensure rational use.   o  Receive orders and deliveries, identifying potential disparities against cargo manifest or          others and reporting them, and store materials.   o  Follows up stock levels with regards to alarms thresholds, stock out, expiry dates and
drugs to expire in the following 6 months.
- Ensure correct filling in of entries on the stock cards and software
- Prepare orders of the different consumption units (departments, wards, other), ensuring
the packaging and proper dispatching. Reporting any anomalies or changes in          Consumption patterns   o  Carry out or participate in regular inventories including EPREP stock.   o  Report missing material/ damage/ robbery.
- Control warehouse limited access to authorized personnel and ensure doors and other exists are secured.   o  Ensures good storage conditions of all items in the pharmacy.   o  Monitor temperature in the warehouse   o  Ensure cleanliness of premises (stock pharmacy).
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
– Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Form four/Six secondary school.
- Desirable, medical related studies
