Established in 2016, University of Africa is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the rural setting of the small city of Toru-Orua (The area population ranges between this figures 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Bayelsa. This institution also has a branch campus in Bolou Orua. Officially recognized by the National Universities Commission of Nigeria, University of Africa (UAT) is a very small (University enrollment / admissions ranges between: 500-999 students) coeducational Nigerian higher education institution. University of Africa (UAT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
