Job Title: Poultry Farm Attendant

Location: Osun
Job Type: Full Time

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a skilled poultry attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking care of our poultry farm and ensuring that all tasks related to the care and maintenance of poultry are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • The role requires a high level of physical fitness, as well as a good understanding of the needs of poultry and the ability to work under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Feeding, watering, and ensuring that poultry are comfortable and well-cared for
  • Monitoring the health and behavior of the poultry and identifying signs of illness or distress.
  • Administering medication and treating minor injuries in poultry.
  • Collecting and sorting eggs.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting poultry houses, equipment, and food storage areas
  • Maintaining appropriate records pertaining to poultry inventory, health, feed consumption, and egg production.
  • Assisting with general farm duties such as aeration, irrigation, and fertilization activities when required.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times and reporting equipment damage, safety concerns, and accidents immediately.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant qualifications and certification in animal husbandry, livestock management, or poultry keeping.
  • Previous experience working as a poultry attendant or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of poultry care and management practices.
