NOTICE TO RECRUITS OF THE POLICE SCHOOL MOSHI FOR YOUTH SELECTED TO JOIN THE TANZANIA POLICE FORCE

1. The Chief of Police announces to all the youth selected to join the Police Force in the country that they are required to report to the Police School in Moshi from December 01, 2023, to December 02, 2023, for the purpose of attending preliminary training to join the Police Force.
2. Youth who have undergone the interview at the Police College Dar es Salaam (DPA) and Units under the Police Headquarters are required to report to Dar es Salaam, Police Area (Barracks), Kilwa Road near the Police Main Hospital on December 01, 2023, at 12:00 PM ready for the journey to the Police School in Moshi.
3. Youth who have undergone the interview in the regions of Mainland Tanzania are required to report to the Police Regional Commanders who conducted the interview on November 30, 2023, at 2:00 AM for the purpose of being given the travel arrangements to the Police School in Moshi.
4. Similarly, youth who have undergone the interview in Zanzibar are required to report to the Police Headquarters in Zanzibar (Ziwani) on November 30, 2023, for the purpose of being assigned travel arrangements.
5. Furthermore, all selected youth are required to report to the Police School in Moshi with the following items: i) Blue track suit with white stripes, plain white t-shirt, sneakers, black socks, two (2) blue shorts for sports and exercises, and a blue metal trunk. ii) A white circular mosquito net (not square), two pairs of light blue sheets (4 sheets), one gray blanket without flowers, and a charcoal stove. iii) Hygiene items: a basin, two small buckets, and a broom. iv) Health insurance card (NHIF) or cash Tsh.50,400/= for those without health insurance cards. v) Original academic certificates, original JKT/JKU certificate, original birth certificate, NIDA card or National ID number from NIDA, copies of NIDA cards or National ID numbers of parents and close relatives on both the father’s and mother’s side (such as aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc.), passport size photos 06 (with a blue background), and five (5) copies for each specified certificate. vi) Pocket money.
6. Mobile phones are not allowed on campus, so it is strictly prohibited to report to the Police School in Moshi with a mobile phone. Anyone found with a phone will be considered undisciplined, and the punishment is immediate expulsion from training. The school will provide a procedure for obtaining communication.
7. Anyone who reports to the Police School in Moshi after December 02, 2023, will not be accepted and will be considered to have withdrawn from training.
