Kairuki Pharmaceutical Industry LTD (also known as KPIL), is expected by 2020 to start producing pharmaceutical products here in Tanzania. Offering state of the art facilities to support supply chain needs throughout Tanzania, the East African Community (EAC) and the Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries. Our integrated offerings provide comprehensive services for the manufacturing and testing of liquid pharmaceuticals products.

PRESENT OWNERSHIP & STAKEHOLDERS

Kairuki Pharmaceuticals Industry Ltd is own by Kairuki Health & Education Network (KHEN), itself a Dar-Es-Salaam based private company, limited by guarantee, not having share capital. Incoporated in Tanzania, KHEN was established for purpose of engaging in provision of health and education services to the community.
Currently, KHEN owns four private and interrelated projects in the health and education sector which are: Kairuki Hospital, a private referral hospital (KH), Hubert Kairuki Memorial University (HKMU), Kairuki School of Nursing (KSN) and more recently, Kairuki Pharmaceuticals Industry LTD (KPIL).
Unlike the first three institutions under KHEN namely KH, HKMU and KSN, Kairuki Pharmaceuticals Industry Limited is a Company limited by shares. As such it is open to share holders, partnership, listings on stock exchanges etc. Its current shareholders include KHEN, an institutional shareholder with 98% shares and the chairperson of KHEN who owns 2% shares.
